Precautions

Check-in (receptionist on-site for personal greeting):
15:00 – 17:00
Early Arrival:
You may drop off your luggage at the 1F Cafe counter after 10:00.
If the Cafe is closed (Tuesdays), please ring the doorbell on the first floor to store it at the hotel.
Check-out:
Before 11:00
Post-Checkout Luggage:
Luggage can be stored at the 3F counter. (As no receptionist is on-site after 17:00, please retrieve your belongings before then.)
Late Arrival:
If arriving after 17:00, please inform us in advance by email or add our official LINE (ID: @orinn175) for self-check-in arrangements.
Late Check-out:
NTD 500 per 30 mins. For late departures under special circumstances, please consult our receptionist in advance; approval is subject to room availability for cleaning schedules.
OrInn promotes reading and local exploration; therefore, rooms and public spaces are not equipped with TVs.

【Breakfast】
Hours:
8:30 / 9:00 / 9:30 (One slot per stay). Breakfast is served in the 4F Dining Room.
Early Departure:
If you need to leave early, please book the "Non-breakfast" plan.
Special Diets:
Please inform our receptionist upon check-in for vegetarian or allergy needs as ingredients require preparation.
Dining Policy:
Wooden materials in rooms absorb odors easily; please enjoy your meals in the public areas.

【Extra Bed/Person Policy】
Rooms are designed for 2 guests. Due to different layouts, not all rooms can accommodate extra beds.
Applicable Rooms:
"Ricefield" and "Valley" (Max 3 guests; additional rooms required for more guests).
Charges:
0–4 years old (inclusive): Free (no breakfast).
Above 4 years old: NTD 800 per person/bed (NTD 1,200 during Lunar New Year), includes one breakfast.
Baby Amenities:
Provided: Sterilizers, baby tubs, and bed-in-beds.
Not Provided: Baby toiletries, pillows, duvets, or bed rails.
Note:
OrInn reserves the right to charge for extra persons or refuse check-in without refund if occupancy limits are exceeded.

【Extended Stays】
To ensure privacy, the receptionist will not enter your room. Please notify us if you need fresh towels or amenities.
For eco-friendly cleaning, we will tidy the bed but will not change linens/duvets.

【Cancellation Policy】
Cancellations or changes made within 3 days of check-in (excluding arrival day) are non-refundable.
Force Majeure:
If Hsinchu Government announces work/school closures due to typhoons, we offer a one-time rescheduling within 2 months or a full refund. All other reasons are non-refundable.

【Parking & Transport】
OrInn does not provide parking or discounts. The entrance is for luggage drop-off only. On-street parking is free from 22:00 to 08:00. A large paid parking lot is a 5-10 min walk away.
Scooters:
Parking spaces are available on Zhongzheng Rd. and Yingming St. (5-min walk).

【House Rules】
OrInn Living:
Please change into indoor slippers and place outdoor shoes in the 3F shoe cabinet. Room doors lock automatically; always carry your room card (Loss fee: NTD 200).
Soundproofing:
As a renovated historic building, soundproofing is limited. Please lower your volume after 21:00. Free earplugs are available in the public area.
Private Bookings:
Whole-building bookings are available via our official LINE.
Commercial Use:
Bookings are for accommodation only. Private parties, commercial filming, or events are prohibited without prior contact and quotation.
Eco-Policy:
We provide organic body/hair wash and towels but NO disposable toiletries (please bring your own toothbrush/toothpaste). No bottled water or in-room fridges; please use the public water dispenser and 4F kitchen fridge (Max cake box height: 17cm).
Smoke-Free/No Incense/No Pets:
Smoking and incense are strictly prohibited indoors. No pets allowed.
Visitors:
Guests' friends are welcome in public areas until 17:00.
